Hey everyone..

I know it's been a while since I first introduced the new logos at the meeting that we had back on April 25th..  The beginning of my deployment has been a lot of work and I really haven't had the time to get them up on the site..  Well, that time has finally shown itself and the website is sporting the new logos..

Also, the store is updated with all new stuff..  We have t-shirts, buttons, magnets, keychains, mousepads, ties and coffee mugs available for purchase with the two new logos plastered on them..  Use the link in the top menu under "STORE" to access and buy your Modern Mopar Nation gear..

I know one of the big things that has been discussed and everyone is wanting is vinyl decals for the car..  I've been in contact with my guy and we're closing in on the final talks of the deals..  Should be soon..  My hope and goal is to be able to get them on people's cars for Mopar Madness..

Speaking of Mopar Madness, everyone should get on the store and order their shirts so that we can represent the club and try to recruit many more members..

That's about it for an update for now..  I'll be back hopefully by the end of the weekend with all the details on the decals..

All,

This saturday we are having a general membership meeting.  So far we've got about half response and all are yeses.  Here's the details:

• Date/Time: Saturday, April 25th 2009 @ 6:30pm
• Place: Golden Corral, 400 S. Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452

We are trying to get as many members as possible to meet at Jenro's Diner at Haygood Shopping Center @ 4:30pm.  This is just hanging out and looking at our cars along with a bunch of others.  No talks for the meeting will take place here, all fun.  After the meeting, we will be going over to Freedom Wash and hanging out there.  There's about 30-40 cars over there on a Friday/Saturday night and again, just fun to hang out and bullshit.

If you can not make the meeting, you can leave a PM to myself, Jen or SUUPER-B.  We will make sure your ideas get heard at the meeting.  Hope to see everyone on Saturday.

So I'm sitting at my desk just a minute ago and got an email..  Thinking it was junk as usual, I open it up and it was addressed to webmaster@modernmoparnation.com..  Hmm, that's odd..  Thought it was a database error or something which is about all that email gets..  Anyways, it was an email from Scott Benson, Service Manager of Hall Dodge..  He had some cool stuff to say and invited us out there with him anytime..  Here's the exact email..

I wanted to thank all of the guys that helped make our March Show and Shine a big success. The next Show here will be a judged event and set for the last saturday in June. I'll be cooking even more food. Everyone in your club are welcome here. If there is anything I can do to help the club, please let me know. Thanks Again.

Ok Everyone..  We need a general membership meeting ASAP..  We need to know the input from you guys on the date..  Not everyone is gonna be able to make it obviously but we want to get as many members to it as possible..  Weekends probably work best but not always..  Start throwing some dates out for a meeting by within the next 2 and a half weeks..  The sooner the better..  For those that don't get on the website much, call them and let them know so we can have as much people show up as possible..

I have completed talks with Formula One and our decals are officially up for sale.  The page can be accessed from the menu above or directly from this link.  Once processed, your decals will be cut and mailed within a week.  We even have recommended places for them to go on your car and 3 sizes available:

3.5in x 2in ($3) - Under the hood or rear passenger windows. Toolboxes or anywhere that would fit a business card size decal.

7in x 4in ($9) - Rear passenger windows or rear windshield near the bottom where the windshield meets the trunk.

10.5in x 6in ($15) - Center of rear windshield. Display your love for MMN to everyone. About the size of a piece of paper.
